The application of low-power, eye-protection display screens in the education industry is gradually becoming a trend, especially in digital teaching equipment (such as e-readers, learning machines, tablets, etc.). Their energy-saving characteristics and healthy eye protection functions are of great significance for children's long-term use.

Solution

Currently, most of the ink screen solutions used in the market have their limitations, such as low refresh rate, residual image, inability to play videos, etc.

We have currently launched a new product - EFPD display, its technical features are as follows:

Low power consumption: EFDP screen uses Argentum Birefringence solution to greatly reduce the power consumption of the display

Eye protection: no backlight, paper-like texture, completely eliminates the hazards of blue light, suitable for long-term reading, and has passed the German Rhine TÜV eye protection certification.

Utilization of ambient light: No backlight is required, relying on natural light for display, and the power consumption is only 10% of traditional LCD.

Visible in strong light: The screen content is still clearly visible under direct sunlight (reflectivity > 40%), solving the reflection problem outdoors.

Paper-like: Watch, draw and write like on paper, protect eyesight

Tactile Integration: With a matte surface treatment, it supports stylus touch to simulate the feeling of writing on paper.

Front light technology: The front light can be switched on and off, which can be used in dark environment.

The effect of using EFDP display

1. The device's battery life is extended from 4 hours (ordinary tablet) to more than 72 hours

2. The myopia rate among children decreased by 12% year-on-year, and the use of paper teaching materials decreased by 30%.
